Christmas 2020 appeal
Help for Covid-affected students and their families this season
Dear fellow Combermerians,
As you gather around your dining table this Christmas day to feast on that succulent ham, turkey, jug jug, sorrel, black cake and other mouth-watering dishes, without your help there will be hungry bellies within our very own Combermere family.
At least 25 students and their families will not be enjoying the same. That’s because they have been severely impacted by Covid-19. We are therefore asking you to please join us and the principal and teachers to help them.
We wish to give each family a Christmas food hamper. Your donation of BDS$250 (US$125 / £100) to buy one hamper would be AWESOME, but any amount will go a long way.
Can you imagine if the tables were turned and you and yours being without the basics this Christmas? Let’s not have this for another family.
To make your donation and a difference in a student’s life, you can donate online. Alternately you can give directly to the president (Mark Ince) or treasurer (Debbie Hyland-Hall). To ensure timely distribution, the donation deadline is Friday, December 18, 2020.
Thanking you in anticipation of your generosity.
Merry Christmas
