Combermerians tend to create, and in that vein Hire Me Express is a newly developed business created by Combermerians, Jadon Giles, 17, and Javanni Holder, 18.

In this COVID-19 environment, Hire Me Express provides a platform for freelance workers, artisans, or anyone with a market service. It also gives persons an opportunity to use their skills to make a living during and after
the economic effects of the pandemic.

The company’s current focus is on the Barbados market but the intention of these young entrepreneursis to expand to the Caribbean as well, in the medium to long term.

As you read this, Javanni and Jadon are hosting 38 services on the site, including but not limited to repairs and maintenance, baking, hairdressing, real estate and finance.

The duo only launched recently – April 1st, 2021 – but they have amassed a following of more than 1,100
persons on their Instagram page.
